Happy 27th Birthday to my amazing boyfriend in an hour. :] I am a lucky girl, I love this boy more than anything..sure he makes me mad sometimes, but we go together like peas and carrots... like peanut butter and jelly... like... hmmm.... Beer/drunkness & Taco Sinaloa (only Travis will get that hahaha..altho that hasn't happened in a very long time).
We had an awesome awesome birthday dinner with all of our very close friends minus a few.. 16 people altogether I think? Lesson learned: do NOT go to buffalo wild wings with that many people, orders are bound to get screwed up. But don't worry.. Travis got free drinks, free food, free cake & ice cream and a free balloon!!
Seriously though, I feel so lucky that we have such amazing friends.. they would do anything for either of us in a heartbeat.. I don't know how I got so lucky :]
Wish I would have gotten everyone at the table.. this is only the right half :P Bri was ready for the pic! haha so cute.

 My Birthday boy ♥
Gatz is always ready for a picture.
French fries in Primos beer haha.
Travs balloon..and Gatz..... doing something. LOL.
expect a real post soon :] and this one will be public <3

Not much was explained in my previous post, but last night after the madness of the Tech N9ne concert wore off I was in the mood to do some self photography so off I traipsed to my abandoned palace where I gashed my leg open on a barbed wire fence, fell down a hill (having to tuck and roll to protect my camera), bruised the hell out of my other leg having to climb in an opening in the tiniest window ever & then wandered around setting up shots and posing in the pitch black with nothing other than my cell phone to light my way because once again I forgot a flashlight.
For some reason, nothing else brings me solace as much as these short journeys into the silent dark hallways of my beloved CFM. I am grateful you have not fallen yet. ...but I know a day will come where I will no longer be able to visit you & with that will come a loss like that of a very dear friend.

These are experimental photos taken with no light other than what was provided by the moon. The top was a 2 minute bulb exposure, the second of the trees, stars & moon at about 70 seconds. f/4.5 @ 400 ISO for less noise although the top one is a bit grainy. The wind was blowing so there's a slight blurring effect of the branches which isnt exactly desirable but oh well.

HATCHETSIXYa knooow, technically mister hatchetman is NOT runnin' with a hatchet. It's a meat cleaver. ...but who really cares, for he is the hatchetman and it doesn't matter if it makes sense.
ANYWAY!
I'm obviously home now, after a long ride (that I slept through most of, which is the reason I'm still awake) and feeling quite pleasant. My sickness/doom cough has passed as of today and I've got a lot of sleep so I'm back at 100%.
The past few days have been what I like to call a total BLUR OF INSANITY. That is of course nothing less than what was expected, but DAMN.
I will say that I had myself a fuckin' fantabulous time.
SOME HIGHLIGHTS: - NOT HAVING TO DRIVE MYSELF. Hell. Yes. - Going to the Columbus, Ohio ICP show IN MY PAJAMAS. - BEST SLEEP EVER due to cough syrup induced comas. I haven't slept so deep and long in ages. - NOW FEELING BETTER AND RESTED! - The hotel in Detroit delivering cookies to my door. - The fact that I had my own room all to myself. I'm a privacy/quiet time freak. - The sweet $2.00 sub sandwich I got from a little deli. On Devil's Night my friend Steve took me out to: - EVIL DEAD - THE MUSICAL!!!! HOLY SHIT IT WAS AWESOME!!!!!! - Sushi dinner afterward. YUM! - and then an AMAZING "dark" art show that had all kinds of REALLY good/interesting stuff + 2 MM paintings on display. - HALLOWEEN = my favorite night of the year. - HALLOWICKED WAS FANTASTIC! We had a huge crew + there were a ton of people I knew there. So much fun. It ended too quickly. - I paid a random bum $1 to take a group photo out in front of the venue like we do every year. - City Club after Hallowicked. IT WAS SO PACKED! Lots of great outfits/costumes. It warmed my little goth club loving heart. - CONEY ISLAND! The only time I eat hot dogs is in Detroit, and Coney Island restaurants are the reason for this. Delicious. - Hanging out at the hotel with a ton of people in various rooms. We mobbed deep in there. and many random other things.
I was so busy that I ended up not taking that many pictures, but I do have some. For some reason this year they weren't allowing cameras in at the venue at Hallowicked, but I'm a rebel and managed to take my camera in like usual so I ended up getting more than I would have otherwise. I'll be posting what I do have soon.
**I DO REQUIRE ASSISTANCE ON AN IMPORTANT MATTER HOWEVER!**
I lost my beloved camera case somewhere in the streets of downtown Detroit and even though we backtracked it could not be located. I want the same exact one, but since my camera was discontinued so long ago it seems that the special case I have for it is pretty impossible to find. However, after extensive searching I did find ONE online but it can only be shipped to a UK address!
So what I'm asking is if anyone who is located in the UK would be willing to make this purchase for me (of course I will forward the funds to cover the case purchase + shipping through paypal) and then after receiving it would ship it to me? I kind of need it ASAP so this would require a responsible person who would do be able to transfer it to me quickly. If someone reading this is willing and able, please leave an email address I can contact you at with further details, thank yooou!
I'm off to go unpack and then go to bed. I hope everyone had a lovely/crazy-fun Halloween like I did!
